Work experience participants are typically students studying at university, TAFE or other educational institutions. People currently working or considering a career change will be considered on an individual basis.
The Program
There is a minimum of a 6 week commitment for the work experience program. Students who commit to the program work 5 consecutive weeks and receive The Golden Door guest program at no charge, as the sixth week.
The Opportunity
- Work across a broad range of departments including Office, Kitchen and Dining, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Phys Ed
- Clean healthy mountain air environment, delicious vegetarian food and pure water

- Twin share accommodation and bathroom with gratis use of retreat facilities
2 days off per week
- Can be credited to the practical module of your relevant field of study
- Written reference subject to achieving predetermined performance criteria
- Experience The Golden Door guest program, 5 days valued at $2,540 at no charge
Your Requirements
- A positive energetic outlook committed to our guests needs at all times
- Long hours and hard work (ranging from menial to challenging)
- Adherence to the rules of the guest program (no alcohol, nicotine, recreational drugs)
