To best achieve your goals, choose The Golden Door 7 day Health Enhancement Program. In just 7 days, discover a new sense of wellness, balance and vitality, both physically and spiritually. Our unique program of exercise, relaxation, spa therapies, nutritious cuisine and education, will provide you with the knowledge to enhance your health long after you depart.
Starting with a personal wellness assessment on arrival, our team of health professionals will assist in designing a program to meet your health objectives whether they be improving fitness, stress management and relaxation, weight loss, personal growth or assistance with specific health concerns and conditions.
The Golden Door - Elysia provides the perfect environment to escape the daily stresses of life giving you time to step off the treadmill of life, simply take a breath and focus on what is important to you.
Your package includes:
- Luxury villa accommodation
- Gourmet spa cuisine
- A diverse selection of group fitness activities and Relaxation and Mind-Body classes
- Daily program of health education seminars and workshops
- Personal Wellness Assessment on arrival
- Use of all the facilities including a 25 metre indoor heated lap pool, outdoor exercise pool, floodlit tennis courts, fully equipped gymnasium, indoor and outdoor activity studios, and outdoor relaxation areas.
- Three complimentary spa treatments in our world class spa including one facial a la carte and two Swedish massages.
- One complimentary wellness consultation with your choice of: acupuncture, life guidance, counselling, nutritionist, naturopath or a standard personal training session.
- Access to all the spa facilities including steam room, spa bath and relaxation lounges.
- Complimentary transfers to and from Newcastle and Sydney airport at set times each Sunday (please enquire on times when making your reservation).

5 Day Optimal Wellness Program
For those who want to gain the benefits of our Health Enhancement program but don't have opportunity to stay the full 7 days, our 5 Optimal Wellness program is best suited for you.
Guided by our team of health professionals, this program will give you a complete understanding of the art of skilful living and graceful aging, a results driven concept The Golden Door team is highly trained in. Optimise your goals to reach new heights in all aspects of your life.
Encompassing low fat spa cuisine, exercise, health education seminars, spa treatments, and wellness therapies, our program will start you on a path of discovery to balance and vitality. The Optimal Wellness Program commences Sunday through to Friday each week.
Your package includes:

- Gourmet spa cuisine
- A diverse selection of group fitness activities and Relaxation and Mind-Body classes
- Daily program of health education seminars and workshops
- Personal Wellness Assessment on arrival

- Two complimentary spa treatments in our world class spa including one facial a la carte and one Swedish massages.

3 Night Motivate for Change Program
Designed to recharge your batteries, our Motivate for Change Program allows you to set some goals to implement when you return home and give you a motivational boost to achieve them.
Combining exercise, relaxation, massage and nutritious cuisine, this mid week short break allows you to slow down your mind and take a break from the treadmill of life.
With a personal wellness assessment with our resident nurse provided on your date of arrival, we will guide you in creating a program to encourage positive change to initiate during your stay and continue at home. The Motivate for Change Program commences either Sunday through to Wednesday or Tuesday through to Friday each week.

Healthy Lifestyle Weekend Program
Enjoy and indulge in a Healthy Lifestyle Weekend at The Golden Door Health Retreat Elysia. This weekend escape allows you to take time out from the everyday hustle and bustle, while enjoying everything the Hunter Valley has to offer.
With so many activities to choose, including hiking, bike riding, meditation and yoga, a tasting visit to an organic Hunter Valley winery, various health seminars and relaxation classes, you will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The Healthy Lifestyle Weekend offers you the opportunity to indulge in our healthy cuisine options of locally sourced fish and poultry (vegetarian spa cuisine options also available), organic green and white tea.

We strongly recommend all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to your visit to The Golden Door. We recommend a comprehensive policy that will cover you for at least the following items:
- Cancellation fees;
- Lost deposits;
- Additional expenses for accidental injury, sickness and hospitalisation;
- Medical evacuation;
- Luggage & personal effects;
- Travel delay and alternative transport expenses;
- Personal liability;
