Men’s Health
About men, for men, with men. With the reluctance of men to discuss their health issues and consult medical practitioners, there is a need for greater awareness of male health. This seminar openly presents information on all of the key topics surrounding men’s health and wellbeing. You will be encouraged to openly discuss health related issues confronting you and contemplate what lies ahead. You will leave this seminar more informed and aware of your body as well as be equipped with practical ways of preventing ill health.

Women’s Health
Suitable for all ages, the women’s health seminar is an insightful and inspiring exploration into the purpose and impact of hormones on your health. Learn to understand the influence of hormones throughout each phase of your life and how to achieve and maintain hormonal balance. Discover the significance of your symptoms, the options available to you today, and how to maximise your health through optimal nutrition.

Vibrant Skin
One of our trained beauty therapists will show you how to best care for your skin type, as well as show you products best suited to preventing ageing, sun damage and dehydration.

Detoxification
Provides a complete overview of the detoxification process that guests will experience during their stay at The Golden Door. This session will detail the ill effects certain food and beverages have on the body and reasons behind the symptoms guests may experience from removing these food types from their diet.

Movement that Matters
This session provides a theoretical background for physical activity, including methods on how to evaluate your fitness level and identifies the most time efficient options to maximize health and wellness. 

Understanding Metabolism
An in depth look at weight issues faced by Australians today, with an up to date look at foods that speed up metabolism as well as reviewing the media hype over certain substances. Covers the dangers of ‘dieting’ and provides strategies to develop a healthy relationship with food.

Psychology of eating
Covers the reasons why we eat what we do, from burgers to biodynamics. Discusses the influence we have over our children’s future eating habits as well as our relationship with food resulting in emotional eating during periods of stress.

Building resilience
In our busy lifestyles we have all felt the effects of stress at one stage or another. This information session will provide you with the tools to identify, manage and ultimately bounce back from stressful situations.

Medical Qigong (energy cultivation)
This presentation introduces you to ancient breathing techniques which are easy to learn and  practice. They promote and increase lung capacity, delivering oxygen to the cells of your body and assisting with relaxation. It includes an introduction to Medical Qigong (energy cultivation) exercises.  This ancient self healing technique is used to increase and balance Qi (energy-life force) levels in your body, promote good health, strong immune system, restore vitality and youthful longevity. Also helps with relaxation and to reduce stress . "Improve your Qi, feel good, be happier."

Personal Action Plan
Bringing together all the lessons learnt from your week at The Golden Door, this session will assist in creating a personal action plan for you to implement when you return home. Goal setting, creating a framework to accomplish your goals and solutions to dealing with obstacles are all a part of action plan for the future.
