Our expert instructors will introduce you to a new holistic approach to exercise that will boost your fitness and uplift your soul. No matter what your level of fitness, we will tailor-make our programs to meet your particular needs.

Fitness and Sports Activities
BODYBALANCE®
Combines the best of eastern disciplines, like yoga and tai chi, with popular new methods such as Pilates.
Boxing / Cardio Circuit
An innovative session that will introduce you to a total cardio workout with lots of variety and great fitness results.
Deep Water Running
Easily the best aerobic workout without hitting the pavement. Using a flotation device that suspends you in water, this aquatic workout will have you feeling revitalised and refreshed without any stress to joints and muscles.
Fitball
Improve your muscle tone, balance, core strength, coordination and posture using your own large stability ball.
Interval Training
A time efficient form of cardiovascular training done in the hills, guaranteed to please those time poor individuals wanting to learn some techniques to take home.
Spinning
Let us take you on our own tour de France without even leaving the gym! This indoor group, stationary cycling experience incorporates a fun, athletic, cardiovascular workout.
Bush Walks
Join our staff for a brisk walk through the surrounding countryside. With the walks graded and clearly marked, you will be able to measure your progress throughout your stay and challenge yourself to complete the longest course before you go home.
Waterpolo
With the “Golden Door Rules”, this is the most popular group game at the retreat!

Feldenkrais
A neuromuscular training system that teaches the body more efficient movement.
Kung Fu
Learn how to coordinate the whole body to generate more power and strength, using some basic Kung Fu techniques for self defence.
Meditation
Let us take you on a sensory journey to a place of calmness where you allow your mind to heal on a physical and spiritual level.
Pilates
Strengthens core back and abdominal muscles in order to stabilise the spine from within.
Stretch
Improve your muscular flexibility and increase range of motion around each joint.
Tai Chi Qi Gong
Taught in the true Chinese tradition, a moving meditation that promotes a deep sense of calm and wellbeing.
Yoga
Enhance your wellbeing, improve flexibility and strength, increase your immunity, align your body and deeply relaxe your mind.
One off Golden Door Sessions
Belly Dancing
Increases suppleness and flexibility in the entire body as well as strengthening the back and abdomen. Works the pelvic floor muscles and reproductive organs. An ancient ritual performed to promote fertility.
Fever (dance)
Time to get your sexy on! It's a fun opportunity to empower and unleash the sensual side of your mind and body. This easy to follow dance class will have you strutting like a pussy cat doll and feeling like a Goddess.
Functional Posture
The spine and associated structures are complex and vulnerable to stress, strain and injury. Muscle weakness and lack of flexibility lead to poor posture. This session involves simple, easy-to-follow exercises and stretches.
Texas 2 Step
Our Texan dance involves only two steps! With great music and laughter, it’s a fun way to get an excellent all over workout.
Tribal Dance
This session is a unique opportunity to allow freedom for each individual. A celebration of ancient ceremonial dance and music.
ZUMBA®
Ditch the standard work out and join the party! Zumba® is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot music and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive.
